Insider Tips

Collect Your Wristband First: Your online ticket is exchanged for a wristband at the ticket counter, in the same queue as walk-ups. Send one person ahead while everyone else waits in the shade.
Rain Falls on the Hour: Thunder rolls and rain sweeps through the dome about once an hour. Ask at the desk when the next one starts and watch from a middle level to see the animals react.
Save the Sloths for the Afternoon: Sloths sleep most of the morning. They are liveliest around their afternoon feed, so ask what time it is scheduled when you arrive.
Do Not Leave Without the Basement: The nocturnal level sits below the forest floor and is easy to walk straight past. It holds the fruit bats and the night creatures, so go down before you head for the exit.
Walk the Loop Twice: There is no time limit on your ticket. The animals move, so a second walk down shows you things you missed the first time.

Smoking is not allowed inside the park.
Disable the flash when taking pictures.
Ensure that you wear respectful attire to the venue.
Refrain from touching, feeding, or disturbing the plants and animals without permission.
Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.

Visitors spending a minimum of AED 100 at The Green Planet get four hours of free parking at City Walk Mall. Additional hours cost AED 20 each.
Children must be supervised by an adult or someone above 16 years.

FAQs

What is the entry fee, and is it cheaper to book online?

Booking here costs less than the walk-up rate at the venue, and your price is shown above. Anyone aged 11 or over pays the adult rate, children aged 2 to 10 pay the junior rate, and infants under 2 enter free.
Do I need to collect a ticket at the venue, or can I go straight in?

Your booking is exchanged for a ticket at The Green Planet counter before you go in, in the same queue as walk-up visitors. Show the voucher on your phone or a printout, along with photo ID.
Is it suitable for small children?

Yes. The Green Planet is an indoor, climate-controlled biodome and a Certified Autism Centre™: signage carries sensory ratings, quiet zones are set aside on the ground floor, and sensory kits are available at the biome entrance.
Can I touch the animals inside The Green Planet?

No. The free-roaming animals and plants are protected, so touching is not permitted on a standard visit. The venue does run separate biologist-led animal encounters with limited daily slots, sold at the attraction and not included in this ticket.
