Yas Waterworld is a 30-minute drive from Abu Dhabi and a 50-minute drive from Dubai Marina. You can get there via Taxi or Car.
By Public Transport: Take the Green Line on the Dubai Metro to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station. From there, take Bus 190 which will take you to the heart of Yas Island.
Shuttle services are available within Yas Island.

Is food allowed in Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi? Can you bring water bottles into water world?

No, it is NOT allowed. Food and drinks to be bought inside. Alcoholic beverages, beverage containers that are not factory sealed, and glass containers of any kind are not allowed inside the park.
