Cover Knees and Shoulders: Keep your knees and shoulders covered inside the palace, and avoid beachwear or clingy clothing. Scarves are no longer lent at the entrance, so bring a layer of your own.
Skip the Cloakroom, Not the Car: There is no cloakroom or locker on the palace grounds, so leave bulky bags and extra belongings at home or in the car before you head in.
Keep Your Phone Camera Ready, Politely: Non-commercial photography is welcome in most areas. Ask permission before photographing other people, and follow the signage in the rooms where photography is not allowed.
Ask About the Evening Light Show: The palace facade lights up after dark for the Palace in Motion show. Ask for the current show time at the entrance when you arrive so you can time the rest of your visit around it.

Know Before You Go to Qasr Al Watan

Entry & Services:

Qasr Al Watan Palace's opening hours can vary from time to time. Please keep an eye on the website for recent updates.
A valid government-issued ID matching the name listed in the booking should be provided to gain entry into Qasr Al Watan.
There are prayer rooms available for both men and women at the Visitor Centre and Zayed Gate.
You can buy food and beverages from Legma, which is nearby to the Palace exit and Visitor's Centre exit.
The Qasr Al Watan is wheelchair accessible and allows a complimentary pass of one.
There are several restrooms available throughout the Visitor Centre, Ceremonial Gate and the Palace.
A First Aid room is located inside the Palace.
A designated smoking area is located outside the Visitor Centre.

How To Use

You can present either a printed copy or a mobile e-ticket.
Tickets are valid only on the date and time specified on the ticket.
You can enter the attraction directly with this ticket.

Is there a dress code at Qasr Al Watan?

Yes. Both knees and shoulders should be covered, and beachwear, transparent or clingy clothing should be avoided. Scarves are no longer provided at the entrance for anyone without suitable coverage, so bring your own.
Is valet parking available?

Valet parking is available at the main car park for a fee. Stroller rental is available for a small charge, and wheelchairs are provided free of charge.
Is photography allowed inside Qasr Al Watan?

Non-commercial photography and filming are allowed in most areas. Ask permission before photographing other people, and follow the no-photography signage in restricted rooms.
Can food and drink be bought during the visit?

Food and beverages are available to buy at Diyafa, near both main exits. Eating and drinking is only permitted in the restaurant areas and gardens, not in the Great Hall or exhibition rooms.
