A car park is available on Tomewin Street from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (except on event days). Parking costs $10, with all proceeds supporting Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.
Free street parking is also available.

From Gold Coast Airport, it’s about 5 km (10 minutes). Take the Gold Coast Highway south and turn right onto Tomewin Street.
From Surfers Paradise, it’s roughly 30 minutes via the Gold Coast Highway.
From Brisbane, take the Pacific Motorway (M1) south, exit at Stewart Road (Exit 95), turn left onto Gold Coast Highway, then right onto Tomewin Street.

Parking:

Free on-site parking is available for all visitors.

The sanctuary is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The special evening experience, Astra Lumina, runs from Wednesday to Saturday.
Can I hold a koala or feed kangaroos?

Yes, koala photo opportunities and kangaroo feeding are available for an additional fee. Some encounters require advance booking.
Is the sanctuary wheelchair and stroller friendly?

Yes, pathways are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Wheelchairs are available on request.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No outside food or drinks are allowed, but there are cafes and picnic areas inside the sanctuary.
