The Columbus Monument, also known as the Mirador de Colom, is a towering tribute to Christopher Columbus, situated at the lower end of La Rambla in Barcelona. Built for the 1888 Universal Exposition, the 60-meter-high column is topped with a bronze statue of Columbus pointing out to sea.
