Queue in Your Time Lane: The lines outside are split by entry time and ticket tier, and staff send people back to the right one. Arrive a few minutes before your slot, find the lane showing your time and have the ticket open on your phone.
Bring Your Own Earphones: Unless your ticket includes a tablet, the audio guide plays through the Casa Batlló app on your own phone and no headsets are handed out. Download the app and pack earphones before you queue.
Book Daytime for the Dragon Roof: On concert evenings the terrace is kept for the concert audience and closed to the general visit. If the rooftop is the reason you are going, pick a daytime slot.
Sit Out the Cube if You Get Dizzy: The visit ends in the Gaudí Cube, an enclosed room of screens that feels like it is rolling. Wait by the exit if you are prone to motion sickness or sensitive to flashing light.

Do I need to buy Casa Batlló tickets in advance?

Yes. Entry is by dated ticket with a fixed time slot, and the house asks you to enter at the time you chose, so buying ahead is the only way to secure the slot you want.
