Insider Tips

See the Conservatories, Then Stay for the Free Light Show: Cloud Forest and Flower Dome need a paid ticket, but the Supertree Grove and outdoor gardens are free, including the nightly light show. Time your conservatory visit for late afternoon so you can step outside as it gets dark.
Bring a Light Jacket Inside: Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are kept noticeably cooler than Singapore’s outdoor heat, so pack something warm for the conservatories even on a hot day.
Visit the Conservatories Early or Late to Skip the Worst Queues: Midday draws the biggest crowds and the longest waits at the conservatory entrances, so aim for the first or last hour of opening.
Check for Seasonal Ticketing Around the Light Show: The show is normally free to watch from the Supertree Grove, but during ticketed events such as the year-end light festival, the best viewing areas can require separate paid entry.

Rules:

Picnics allowed in most parts, except the Conservatories. No picnic furniture allowed throughout the Gardens.
Prohibited: bicycles/tricycles, roller skates, skateboards, scooters. Secure bikes at stands. Cycling allowed on waterfront promenade, Scented Walk, and Bay East Garden perimeter.
Food and drinks prohibited in the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest.
Dogs allowed at the Outdoor Gardens, not at the Conservatories.
Smoke-free environment.

FAQs

Is Gardens by the Bay free to visit?

Partly. The outdoor gardens, Supertree Grove, and the nightly light show there are free to enter. The Cloud Forest and Flower Dome conservatories need the paid ticket shown above. During some ticketed seasonal events, the best viewing areas for the outdoor light show can also require a separate paid entry, so check for any event notices on the day you visit.
What is the difference between the Cloud Forest, Flower Dome, and Floral Fantasy tickets?

Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are two separate indoor conservatories, most commonly sold together on one combined ticket. Floral Fantasy is a different indoor garden and flower attraction with its own separate admission. Check your booking confirmation to see which of these your ticket covers.
