Book well ahead: Timed tickets can be reserved up to six months in advance, and dates sell out, especially in peak season.
Dress for a church: Cover shoulders, and avoid tank tops, strapless tops, short shorts, and flip-flops, since this is a working Catholic church.

Even though children are free, it's still necessary to reserve a ticket for them (to monitor visitor numbers).
Children under 11 years and disabled visitors are free of charge but still require an admission ticket, which can be obtained from the ticketing counter. A valid ID is required.
The hours and days of opening to the public can be exceptionally modified by the Management in case of special events inside the Basilica.
Download the Sagrada Família app on your mobile device for an audio-guided visit before arriving.
Please note that the audio guide is not suitable for children under 11.
If you wish to purchase a children's ticket, you must also purchase at least one adult ticket.
