Insider Tips

Book at Least a Day Ahead: Online tickets must be bought a full 24 hours before your visit, so a ticket bought this morning will not get you in this afternoon. Pick tomorrow or later as your date.
Arrive at Opening: Feeding sessions run back to back through the morning and the small car park fills by late morning. Plan your loop around the timetable board.
Carry Small Notes: Feed buckets and the token machines for fish and raccoon food take cash at several stations, sometimes exact change only. Buy one bucket at the entrance and share it.
Claim a Raccoon Number Early: The afternoon raccoon session has only a handful of numbered slots. Ask a ranger where numbers are issued as soon as you arrive, and be waiting there well before it starts.
Dress for the Goats: Goats and deer climb on anyone holding a feed bucket, and paths get muddy after rain. Wear closed shoes and dark clothes, and pack repellent and a spare set for the kids.

Seniors (60+) must be eligible for child rates (proof required).
An adult must supervise children.
Each ticket allows one entry only, expired tickets are non-refundable.
Parking on site is free but limited and first come, first served. On weekends and holidays expect to use the paid parking across the road.

By Car:

From Sunway Lagoon, the farm is a 10-minute drive away.
From the KLIA airport, you can opt for a one-way to the farm which takes about 30 minutes.

By Bus:

Board the MRT Feeder Bus using the route (T544) or (T542) and get off at MRT Putra Permai station (SJ884) or Pusat Bandar Putra Permai Selatan (SJ835).
Then, take a 5-minute walk to Farm In The City.

By Train:

Disembark at MRT Putra Permai (PY37) station using the MRT Putrajaya Line route.
Then, take a 5-minute walk to Farm In The City.

FAQs

Do I need to book Farm In The City tickets in advance?

Yes. Online tickets must be purchased at least 24 hours before your visit, and a ticket bought on the day is not accepted at the gate, so choose tomorrow or a later date when you book. If your plans change, the booking can still be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge before the cutoff shown on your ticket.
Can I walk in to Farm In The City without a ticket?

Yes, walk-in tickets are sold at the entrance counter, but the walk-in rate is higher than the online rate for the same single-entry ticket. Booking online also means the ticket is waiting on your phone instead of being bought in the counter queue on busy weekends and school holidays.
Is animal feed included in the Farm In The City ticket?

No. Entry covers all the animal zones and the daily feeding and interaction sessions, but the feed buckets and tokens for hand-feeding the animals are sold separately inside the farm. Outside food is not allowed in, and there is a cafe on site if you want to eat during your visit.
Can everyone hug the raccoon at Farm In The City?

Not guaranteed. The raccoon interaction is a scheduled daily session with a limited number of spots handed out on a first come, first served basis, and the timetable can change in bad weather. Arrive early and check the day’s activity board so you can be at the enclosure before the session starts.
