Before you travel: Confirm ArtVo is open and fully accessible on your visit date, areas can close temporarily for renovations.
What to wear: Wear appropriate clothing and closed footwear, thongs and offensive attire are not permitted inside.
What to leave home: Leave glass bottles, weapons or fireworks at home, they are not allowed past the door.
Prams: Plan to leave a pram in the cloakroom and use a baby carrier instead, it makes moving through the gallery easier.

ArtVo welcomes guests with special needs and disabilities. The venue is wheelchair and pram accessible, with clear paths throughout.
ArtVo encourages leaving prams in the cloakroom and using a carrier when possible.
Lockers are available for a small fee of $2. Where possible, ArtVo advises that large bags and bulky belongings are avoided.
Lost property will be stored at the front desk.

Bus Link’s route 220 will also drop you at The District’s doorstep. (Stop 6 - Footscray Road) Buses run every 15 minutes, seven days a week.

By Train:

Take the train to Southern Cross Station and walk over the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge to The District Esplanade, then along Docklands Drive or the waterfront to The District.

By Car:

The District Docklands East & West Car Parks. Secure, multi-level undercover parking with multiple auto-pay options. No pre-booking is required.

By Metro:

Free Tram. The City Circle free tram stops right outside The District Shopping Centre, Docklands Drive. Take Tram 70 (via Flinders Street) OR Tram 86 (Via Bourke Street) to the District tram stop.
