By Car:

Depart Cairns accommodation and head north on Sheridan Street.
Pass the airport; Sheridan Street becomes Captain Cook Highway.
Cross Barron River Bridge and continue through several roundabouts.
At Smithfield roundabout, turn left onto Kennedy Highway and enter Kuranda Range.
Optional stop at Henry Ross Lookout for scenic views.
Continue on Kennedy Highway, cross Barron River Bridge, and follow signs to Kuranda Village.
Turn left at Rob Veivers Drive to reach the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary.
