Insider Tips

Check For Closures Before You Go: The monument sometimes closes for ceremonies or maintenance with little notice, so check for any last-minute closure alerts before you head over.
Travel Light, No Storage On-Site: There is no left-luggage office or cloakroom, and helmets are not allowed inside, so avoid bringing anything you cannot carry with you for the whole visit.
Book Ahead And Arrive Early: Lines can build up, especially in the afternoon, so book ahead and arrive earlier in the day if you want to get in quickly.
Keep Noise Down In The Crypt: Security actively enforces a quiet atmosphere in the crypt, so keep conversation low to avoid being asked to move on.
Mind The Last Entry Cutoff: Admission stops 45 minutes before closing time, so plan to arrive well before then.
