What To Expect

The assortments are shown on 2 stories and you should anticipate putting several hours at the exhibition hall to guarantee that you have the opportunity to see everything. As well as investigating the assortments you'll get an opportunity to find out about the historical backdrop of the structure. A short time later, you can make a beeline for the housetop, which is the ideal spot for getting a charge out of all-encompassing perspectives on the city.

The national museum of Catalan visual art is located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

The museum is housed in the Palau Nacional, a huge, Italian-style building dating to 1929. The Palau Nacional, which has housed the Museu d'Art de Catalunya since 1934, was declared a national museum in 1990 under the Museums Law.

It is one of the most important and outstanding collections in the museum, due largely to the series of mural paintings it includes.
