What To Expect

The Centre Pompidou is one of Europes largest contemporary and modern art museums. The museum collection holds more than 100,000 artworks by more than 6,500 artists. It also contains a huge library and research center, and includes contemporary creations such as plastic arts, books, music and cinema. Several galleries offer exhibitions geared for kids and teens, making it a great destination for the entire family.

  • Refunds and cancellations are not applicable for these tickets.

Rules:

  • Items to be left in cloakroom: suitcases, backpacks, umbrellas, baby carriers, helmets, luggage (max dimensions: length 35cm/width 15cm/depth 30cm), tripods, flash devices, selfie sticks.

  • Visitors with motorized vehicles (bicycle, scooter) are not allowed for security reasons.

Wednesday - Monday: 

  • Museum + exhibitions: 11:00 am - 09:00 pm.
  • Nocturnes: Thursdays until 11:00 pm in the exhibition spaces on level 6 (galleries 1 and 2).
  • Galerie des enfants: 11:00 am - 07:00 pm
  • Bookshop and boutique: 11:00 am - 09.45 pm
  • Doors close 10 minutes before door closing times.
  • December 24 & 31: Early closure at 07:00 pm.

Closures:

  • Closed on Tuesdays.
  • May 1.

Entry & Services:

  • Children aged 0-17, job seekers, disabled visitors + carer, and RSA, CMU, or ASS benefit recipients (permanent + temporary collection), EU citizens under 26 (permanent collection) can enter for free.
  • Pushchairs and wheelchairs available at cloakroom service (level 0, subject to availability).
  • Seat sticks available on levels 4 and 5.

Facilities:

  • Centre Pompidou car park: access at 31 Rue Beaubourg
  • Parking spots are reserved for handicapped visitors on levels - 2 and -3.
