Do not touch or step on any historical objects.
Large bags, backpacks, and umbrellas must be stored in the cloakroom or lockers.
The Museum is not liable for valuables stored in the cloakroom.
Parents with small children may bring a bag or backpack after inspection.
Uncollected items will be handed to the Lost & Found Office.
Smoking is prohibited on the premises.
Food and drinks are not allowed in the exhibition areas.
Animals are not permitted, except for assistance dogs.
Photography and filming without flash or tripod are allowed for personal use only.
Bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, and similar items are not allowed inside the Museum.
Helium balloons and gas cylinders are not permitted in the Museum.

The museum entrance is below street level. Wide concrete ramps lead to the main entrance.
Wheelchair access on the ramp may be affected by paving stones on both sides. The east ramp has a gradient of less than 6% but lacks a handrail.
There are round seating furniture scattered around the entrance area.

There is a parking garage next to the museum – entrance Linzer Straße (DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schonbrunn) – with a reduced fee for our visitors: € 2.20 instead of € 3.20 per parking hour.
