  • Smoking and drinking are not allowed. You will immediately be asked to leave if caught by a staff member.
  • Do not feed animals unless permitted, and only with food provided by the park.
  • Children must be supervised at all times to ensure their safety and the well-being of the animals.

Entry and Services:

  • This activity is wheelchair-accessible.
  • There are two car parks available; you may park for free in the Main lot and the Overflow parking lot located across the street.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park after a simple sign-up at the entrance.
  • The Treehouse Café offers a variety of meals, snacks, and beverages.

By Bus:

  • Take the train to Blacktown Station (North Shore & Western Line). From Bus Stand E, hop on the 729 bus — a 10-minute ride drops you right at Featherdale’s entrance.

By Car:

  • Exit the M4 at Reservoir Road, head northwest towards Blacktown. Turn left onto Bungaribee Rd, then right on Lancaster St, and finally left on Kildare Rd. Featherdale is 850m ahead on the right.

    Featherdale is located at 217-229 Kildare Road, Doonside, NSW — about a 40-minute drive from Sydney CBD.

  • What are the opening hours?

    The Park is open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm every day. We are open from 8 am - 2 pm on Christmas Day (Last entry 1 pm).

  • Is smoking permitted in the wildlife park?

    NO. Smoking and vaping are not permitted within the Featherdale grounds. Please retain your admission PASSPORT for re-entry if you choose to exit to smoke during your visit.

  • How long should I plan to spend at the park?

    We recommend about 2 hours to explore our Australian animals, but you’re welcome to spend the whole day with our Kangaroos, Koalas, and other amazing wildlife.

  • Is the park wheelchair and stroller accessible?

    Featherdale is mostly flat and fully accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Accessible toilets and facilities are also available.
