Buy Your Ticket Online Before You Go: Gate and ticket-booth prices run well above the online rate, so booking ahead is the cheaper, more reliable way in.
Download the Park App First: It shows live wait times and the park map. Planning your route around it is the difference between a smooth day and hours in line.
Visit on a Weekday If You Can: Weekends draw the heaviest crowds and the longest waits. A weekday visit, especially outside summer, moves noticeably faster.
Bring an Empty Water Bottle: Full drinks are not let through security, but empty bottles are, and refill stations are around the park, worth doing given what bottled water costs inside.
Use the Looney Tunes Area for Younger Kids: Most of the tallest rides have a height minimum children may not clear yet, so this area keeps them entertained without the wait.

Guests aged 15 or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone aged over 21 with a valid ID after 04:00 pm.
One chaperone may supervise up to 10 youths and must remain in the park and accessible throughout the visit, or the youths may be ejected.
Your ticket grants one-day admission to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom on any public operating day during the 2024 season.
Parking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Wheelchair rentals are available.
