Insider Tips

Book Online Before You Go: Online tickets run up to 30% cheaper than paying at the gate, so buy in advance rather than walking up on the day.
Go on a Weekday: Midweek visits run with short or no queues, even on the headline zip coaster and flying fox. Weekends fill up fast, especially on the most popular rides.
Register Your Face Before You Arrive: Entry uses facial recognition. Upload your selfie from the link in your booking email before you travel, then scan straight through the turnstile instead of queuing to sort it out at the gate.
Pack Two Pairs of Shoes: Closed shoes are required for the dry adventure courses and water shoes for the slides and pools. Bring both, or budget extra to buy a pair at the park’s own shop.

Know Before You Go to Escape Penang

To enter ESCAPE Penang, facial recognition technology is employed. You must register your face via the provided link in your voucher before your visit.

New Facial Recognition Check-in

Face Registration Progress:

By supporting the new norms and post-pandemic SOPs, it’s COMPULSORY for all visitors to register their faces to be used to scan at the turnstile gate to enter the park.
Step 1: Book your ticket at Klook and make the payment accordingly. You will receive your tickets once the booking is confirmed.
Step 2: Click on the URL link in your voucher. Then, register your face by uploading a selfie.
Step 3: Scan your face at the turnstile and enter the park seamlessly.

FAQs

Is ESCAPE Penang a water park or an adventure park?

Both. The park is split into two areas: a dry adventure section with rope courses, zip lines and climbing rides, and a separate water park with slides and pools. Most visitors do one area in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
Is it cheaper to book online than at the gate?

Yes. Booking online is discounted from the walk-up price at the gate, in line with what the venue itself advertises for online tickets. Buying in advance also lets you complete the facial recognition registration before you arrive.
