Go Up Before Sunset, Not After: Lift queues grow fastest in the hour around sunset, sometimes past 30 minutes each way, so ride up earlier and claim your spot on the open deck before dark.
Dress for an Open-Air Deck: The top level of the Floating Garden Observatory has no roof, so it stays breezier and cooler than the floors below. Bring a light layer even on a warm day.
Do Not Rush Past the Escalator: The escalator linking the two towers near the top runs through a glass tube open to the air, with the city dropping away on both sides, so it is part of the experience.
