Trade Your Ticket for a Wristband: The All Day Adventure Pass is exchanged for a wristband at the ticket booth or Will Call window, so have your phone ticket and ID ready. The wristband also lets you leave and re-enter.
Check the Forecast First: The Shark Voyage train, Ferris wheel and other rides close for rain, wind or lightning with no rain checks, and they are most of what the pass buys. If the forecast is bad, reschedule inside the free change window.
Park a Few Blocks Away: The on-site lot is cashless and registered by QR code, and valet costs more. Parking a short walk away costs a fraction.
Do the Rides Before the Tanks: The exhibit takes under an hour and ends at the white tigers, so start with the train, Ferris wheel and stingray reef while lines are short. Weekday mornings bring school trips.
Pack Towels for the Splash Pad: Children end up in the splash pad, planned or not. Bring towels and a change of clothes.

This activity is stroller and wheelchair-accessible.
Please note that the aquarium can be crowded during peak times: weekends and holidays.
Parking in the aquarium lot costs $15 for self-parking or $18 for valet. The lot is cashless: you register your car by scanning a QR code with your phone.
You cannot re-enter the aquarium exhibit after leaving unless you hold an All Day Adventure Pass wristband.

What does the All Day Adventure Pass include?

The pass covers the Aquarium Adventure Exhibit, entry to Stingray Reef and unlimited rides, including the Shark Voyage train, the Diving Bell Ferris wheel, the Aquatic Carousel, Lighthouse Dive, Frog Hopper and Aqua Wheel. Midway and arcade games are not included, and height limits apply on some rides.
Do I need to book Downtown Aquarium tickets in advance?

No, tickets are also sold at the door, so booking ahead is not compulsory. Booking here fixes your date with free cancellation or rescheduling up to 24 hours before your visit, and on the day you go to the ticket booth or Will Call window to swap your ticket for a wristband.
What happens if it rains?

The exhibit stays open but the rides, including the Shark Voyage train, close for rain, high winds or lightning, and the aquarium does not give rain checks or refunds for weather. If the forecast looks bad, use the free rescheduling above and move your date.
Do children need a ticket?

Children aged 2 and under enter free with a paying adult and do not need a ticket. Everyone else is priced by height rather than age, with one rate for anyone under 42 inches (106 cm) and one for anyone taller.
