FAQs

Where is Moco Museum located?

Moco Museum is at Honthorststraat 20, in the Museumplein area of Amsterdam, next to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum.
What are the opening hours?

Moco Museum opens every morning and stays open into the evening, with the museum keeping longer hours on Friday and Saturday than on other days. Doors close earlier midweek and on Sunday.
How much time should I plan for the visit?

A visit to Moco Museum is on the shorter side compared with Amsterdam’s larger museums, so it suits travelers combining several Museumplein sights in one day. The collection can be explored at a relaxed pace without setting aside a full afternoon.
Is the museum suitable for children?

Moco Museum welcomes children and families, though the historic building has stairs and no elevator, so it is not stroller or wheelchair accessible. Families with young children or mobility needs should plan accordingly.
Can I take photos inside the museum?

Photography is permitted inside the museum, and many of the installations are designed with photo opportunities in mind.
When is the best time to visit to avoid crowds?

Moco Museum tends to be busiest around midday and on weekends. Arriving close to opening time or later in the day is generally quieter, and booking a specific time slot in advance helps limit waiting.
