Rules:

Pushchairs must be kept throughout the visit, as there is no designated parking area at the Observatory or tower.
Dogs are tolerated as long as they remain in the visitor’s arms or in a bag.

Rules

The venue has 2 levels: the 56th floor (inside – panoramic area) is non-smoking, while the 59th floor (outside – terrace) is smoking (ashtrays are available).

Last climb depending on tower closing hours: 10 pm for 10:30 pm closure, 11 pm for 11:30 pm closure.
Terrace 59th floor is closed from 7 pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Entry & Services:

Children under 3 years are free of charge but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
To access the terrace, you have to climb 3 flights of stairs.
Last entry is 30 minutes before closing time.
The 56th floor is wheelchair accessible but the Terrace – 59th floor is not.
Children travelling without adult supervision are not allowed.

How To Use

You can present either a printed copy or a mobile e-ticket.
Montparnasse Tower Tickets are only valid during the period specified in the selected package.
You can enter the attraction directly with this ticket.

FAQs

When is the Observatory open?

The Observatory is open every day of the year from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. on weekdays, and 11 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays, from October 1 to March 31, to 11:30pm from April 1 to September 30.
The last ascent is 30 minutes before the site closes.
I'm a disabled person?

People with reduced mobility can access the 56th floor and enjoy the view. Unfortunately, access to the terrace is only possible via the staircase.
I'm a photographer, can i use a tripod?

Tripods for photographers are permitted, but may not be allowed on special days (e.g. July 14th).
