  • The Cabins Handle Wind Well: Gondolas are enclosed and climate controlled, so a breezy day at the coast will not leave you cold. Some sway in strong wind is normal and does not stop the ride.
  • Ask About the Glass-Floor Gondola: A VIP gondola with a glass floor is available alongside the standard cabins, a small upgrade worth asking about at the counter if you want a sharper view straight down to the sea.
  • You Get Several Laps, Not One: Each ride carries your gondola around the wheel more than once, so there is no need to rush your photos on the first pass.
  • Walk the Full Length of the Pier: Beyond the wheel, the pier runs across several levels with an old arcade and food stalls that many visitors miss by heading straight back to the beach.
