Insider Tips

Have Your Ticket Ready at the Gate: You can enter directly with your printed or mobile ticket, so keep it easily accessible instead of digging for it once you're in line.
Time Your Visit to What Matters Most: Animals tend to be most active in the morning, especially in summer, while the zoo tends to be quieter in the late afternoon, so pick whichever matters more to you.
Bring a Card for Parking: Parking is handled separately from admission, so have a card or cash ready at the lot rather than assuming it's included.
Expect Some Backtracking: The paths don't form one simple loop back to the entrance, so you may retrace some sections; grabbing a map at the gate helps you plan a route.
Don't Expect Every Animal on View: Some animals rest out of sight or move between exhibits, and sections are occasionally closed for maintenance, so treat any single animal as a bonus rather than a guarantee.
