Rules:

  • Photography and video recording are allowed inside the facility. However, close-up photography of individual exhibits requires prior permission from the management office.
  • The use of flash, tripods, and selfie sticks is strictly prohibited.
  • Photography and video recording of the “Atomic Bomb Diagram” (2nd basement floor, near the ticket machine) and “The Boy Standing at the Grilling Ground” (1st basement floor, exit area) are not permitted.
  • Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the facility. Hydration is permitted at Ikoi Plaza (1st basement floor) and the vending machine area (1st floor).
  • Assistance dogs (guide, service, and hearing dogs) are welcome. Pets are not permitted.

From JR Nagasaki Station take the tram bound for "Akasako" and get off at the "Atomic Bomb Museum" stop, then walk for about 5 minutes.

By Bus:
From Nagasaki Station take the bus bound for Nameshi, Togitsu, Nagayo, or Menoto and get off at "Hamaguchicho" bus stop, then walk for about 5 minutes.

By Car:
Enter the Nagasaki Bypass from Nagasaki Tarami IC on the Nagasaki Expressway, then exit at Kabira IC (towards Peace Park/Showa-cho), about 5 minutes towards the city center.
