Book Animal Encounters Early: Head to the entrance as soon as you arrive to reserve an animal encounter, since slots are limited and assigned on the day.
Bring The Right Food: Pick up roo food at the ticket office for hand-feeding kangaroos and emus, since outside food isn’t allowed for the animals.
Visit In The Morning: Animals tend to be more active earlier in the day, since many rest and seek shade once it warms up.
Arrive With Time To Spare: Check the day’s closing time before you go, since last entry can fall earlier than the official closing time.
Allow Half A Day: A couple of hours covers the basics, but presentations and feeding sessions can easily fill most of a day if you want to catch them all.

Entry & Services:

This activity is stroller and wheelchair-accessible.
Children (0-15 years) must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Children aged 16+ are charged at the adult rate.
Infants and children must be included in the passenger headcount.
Concession tickets require a valid Australian seniors, student, or health care card. The price difference must be paid at the door if a valid card is not presented.
Photography is welcome and encouraged.
Animal encounters must be booked upon arrival and are subject to availability.
Bookings for animal encounters must be made at the entrance before the scheduled time.
Photo sessions allow up to four people per photo, depending on the chosen animal.
Hand-feeding is permitted for kangaroos and emus with designated "roo food" available at the ticket office. No other food is allowed.
Do not feed any other animals, as they require special diets.
Photos will be ready within 60 minutes and can be collected from the gift shop staff.
