  • Pets are not allowed in the recreation area.
  • Camping is prohibited in the recreation area.

Know Before You Go

Entry & Services:

  • Only one QR code (e-voucher) will be issued per booking, regardless of the number of orders.
  • The same QR code can be used multiple times for admission. Please present the same code each time.
  • No modifications, refunds, or cancellations are allowed once the product has been redeemed.
  • The system does not support order modifications. To change the number of participants, please request a refund and make a new purchase.
  • The Alishan Forest Recreation Area is open 24 hours a day, year-round.
  • The area may close upon announcement by the Chiayi County Government in accordance with the Operation Regulations on the Suspension of Offices and Classes because of Natural Disasters, or when forest management authorities announce full or partial closures for visitor safety.
  • Please note: This ticket is for adults only. Child, senior, or PWD tickets may be purchased on-site.

Location

By Car:

  • Route 1: National Hwy 3 → Provincial Hwy 3 → Meishan Interchange (279K) → County Hwy 162A (Meishan, Rueili, Ruifeng, Taihe)
  • Route 2: National Hwy 3 → Provincial Hwy 3 → Zhuzhi Interchange (290K) → County Hwy 166 (Zhuqi, Taixing, Ruili)
  • Route 3: National Hwy 1 → Chiayi System Interchange (272K) → Provincial Hwy 82 → National Hwy 3 → Zhongpu Interchange (297K) → Provincial Hwy 18

By Bus:

  • From Taipei: Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport from Taipei Bus Station → Chiayi Station → Alishan Station
  • Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Bus: Route 7329 (HSR Departure) or Route 7322C (TRA Departure) to Alishan
  • From Chiayi County Bus Station → Shizhao → Dabang

By Train (to Yahu Old Grandma’s Railway Bento):

  • Take the train to Fenqihu Station, walk straight, turn left for 120 meters, then right for 210 meters — the shop will be on your right.
