Rules:

  • No bikes, skateboards, scooters, or rollerblades are allowed on the jetty.
  • Fishing is permitted only in designated areas.
  • Swimming, snorkeling, and diving are allowed, but only in safe zones away from the train tracks.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Smoking, alcohol consumption, and littering are not permitted on the jetty.
  • Visitors must follow staff instructions and safety signs for their own protection.
  • Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.

Know Before You Go

Entry and Services:

  • Free entry for children aged 0–2.
  • Children aged 18 and above are charged the adult rate.
  • Children under 15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18+) during the Jetty Train journey and Underwater Observatory tour.
  • Children under 3 travel free but must sit on an adult’s lap on the train, as no separate seat is allocated.
  • Tickets are valid for one return trip and can be used as a Jetty Day Pass.
  • For safety reasons, diving gear, fishing gear, large luggage, prams, and strollers are not permitted on the train or inside the Underwater Observatory.
  • Guests with infants are encouraged to use a baby carrier.
  • A secure pram storage service is available on the jetty for a refundable AUD 10 deposit. Please inform the bookings staff if you wish to use this service.

How To Use

  • Tickets are only valid during the period specified.
  • You can enter the attraction directly with this ticket.

Hotel Pick Up Information

  • Make sure to arrive on time.
  • Arrive at the meet-up location 15 minutes before the scheduled activity time.
  • Latecomers or no-shows can't be refunded.
  • Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before your booked train/tour time. The Train departs the Interpretive Centre (blue buildings on the shore end of the Jetty).
  • Train seats are not allocated; they are on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no guarantee that your group will be able to sit together on the train.
  • If you miss or do not show for your train/tour time, you will not receive a refund. Please refer to the cancellation details.
  • Upon arrival, please proceed inside the Interpretive Centre (the blue buildings on the shore end of the jetty) to check in for your tour and collect tickets.

  • Busselton is about a 2.5-hour drive (220 km) south of Perth via the Kwinana Freeway and Bussell Highway. Parking is available near the jetty.

By Bus:

  • TransWA and South West Coach Lines operate regular services between Perth and Busselton. The bus stop is within walking distance of the jetty.

By Air:

  • Busselton Margaret River Airport has flights from select cities. From the airport, it’s about a 10-minute drive to the jetty.

Parking:

  • There is no parking directly next to the Busselton Jetty. It is 50 to 100 meters to walk from the closest carparks.
