FAQs

  • What time do flights usually start?

    Flights take off around sunrise. Meeting times vary by season, typically between 4:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.

  • How long does the whole experience take?

    The full experience lasts approximately 3–5 hours, including travel to the launch site, the balloon flight (lasting 1 hour), landing, and breakfast.

  • What should I wear?

    Wear comfortable outdoor clothing in layers, as mornings can be chilly. Closed-toe flat shoes are required. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are also recommended.

  • Is it safe?

    Yes, hot air ballooning is very safe and operators are licensed. However, flights are weather dependent — if it’s too windy or visibility is poor, flights may be canceled and rescheduled.

  • Are there health restrictions?

    Pregnant women, people with recent surgeries, or those unable to stand for at least an hour usually cannot fly. Guests must be able to climb in and out of the basket unaided.
